Please join us now, in the year 2000, when we catch up on the 1985 Dodgeland grads, and see what they're up to Lori Beechey married, has two boys and two girls, whom she has taught to keep a clean room, and get good grades in school. Mike Berthold is a very rich and successful busi- ness man, though no one is sure what business he's in! He still goes to Florida every winter and comes back looking like a Cuban — was that Banana Boat lotion”, Mike? Amy Braash, married a military man and enter- tained the Soviet troops during WW III. Ron Bunge never married, but he adopted enough kids to form his own basketball team. Brent Couperus became a professional weight- lifter and won the Mr. Universe title in 1990. Con- gratulations, Brent! Mark Davis became fed up with the rat race” and started his own religion in India. Dale Dobbratz, Todd Gorr, and Jim Selchert be- came an All-Star Wrestling tag team, (watch them on NBC every Sunday afternoon.) Jean Henriott won a Nobel Prize for something. (Those quiet people are always so smart!) Pat Klomsten got her own television aerobics show along with Heidi Heuer, (these girls got such high ratings, Richard Simmons went off the air!) Scott Hiemstra still drives fast, and he took over Schultz Motors in Reeseville so he can have all the free gas he wants! Edward Hinzmann writes scripts at the BBC (Brit- ish Broadcasting Company) for the DOCTOR WHO show. Kevin Leistico is the 8th Doctor to be on the show. Someone who was mistakenly identified as Roni Jakel became the new leader of the Hell's Angels, but is now known that Roni really became a Commercial Artist. Lisa Johll was a Home Ec teacher at Rydell High (wherever that is) but she got fired for demanding that more cooking sherry ought to be in the budget. Wayne Johll beat the Incredible Hulk Hogan on All-Star Wrestling, and is now dating Cyndi Lauper. Jim Jongebloed and Dawn Loomis opened up a florist shop in Milwaukee that turns into a bar after hours. Tom Justman taps into computers and sells top secret information to third world countries. Jay Kaul brews his own beer at home and sells it to minors. Joan Kennedy got to be close friends with Barbara Walters, who got Joan her own talk show on ABC. She married a lawyer with hornrimmed glasses, who occasionally asks Joan for advice on some of his cases. Paul Kennedy made it ! (we always knew you would, dumpling!) Jeff King settled for less. Dorothy Kitelinger became a dental assistant, (she still has that nice smile). Rumor has it she's engaged to the dentist she's working for. Kevin Klages is a good boy” now! When Pink Floyd regrouped in 1995, he became their road man- ager. He's the guy to see about getting backstage passes for their next concert. Cathrine Knudtzon is married to the lead singer from Wham” and lives in Paris. Kevin Kohls did NOT become a high school prin- cipal, he is a very brilliant, if somewhat eccentric scientist. Tom Kolb got everything he wanted by the time he was 25 yrs, and then decided it wasn't REALLY what he wanted. (Don't worry Tom, you're still young!) Jim and Randy Krause are farmers by day and CUA agents by night. Gene Krinke and Tim Neis were never heard from again since they set off to see the entire world by tractor. Donna Kuhlman dyed her hair blonde, and is an assistant for Doug Henning's Magic Show. Stephanie Kulke was a nearly famous stage star until British actor John Cleese told her she had abso- lutely no talent and married her. She still does Shakespeare in the park in London. Becky Kuzniewicz married and lived happily ever after. Janel LeRoy collaborated with Leo Buscaglia on a new book, and also does some psychiatric counseling with Dr. Ruth Westheimer and Dr. Joyce Brothers. (Rumor has it she's going out with a high school Psychology teacher). Max Lindert is still the great guy he was back in high school, only he's richer now and has a better car. Laura Maas owns a bowling alley in Juneau that shows rock videos while you bowl, and serves free beer on Saturday nights. Jay Marquardt took after his brother — bought a nice family-type car, and cruises Juneau with it dur- ing noon hour. Jim Murray does ads for Mr. Coffee with Joe Di- Maggio. John Nehls never has been and never will be, related to Tamara Nehls. Tammy Nehls got a gold in the '92 Olympics, and will give her former fellow class members discounts
