The varsity team enjoyed its finest season since the 1967 championship team, tieing with North Fondy for the title. Some season highlights were holding oppo- nents scoreless in five games, five players earning All-Conference honors, having six touchdowns called back because of penalty, one of which was crucial in the only loss to Lomira, a group of senior ball players who worked hard to become the backbone of a championship ball club. The JV's were 5-1 and suffered their only loss'to Horicon. Greg Blasts away at the Orioles for a good gain.

Run, Run, Run! FRONT ROW: Dean Henkel, Tom Weiss, Jerry Ninmann, Larry Feilbach, Mr. Sharpe, Coach. BACK ROW: Dale Rennhack, Mike Korth, Bill Wetherbee, Peter Bork, Randal Roberts, Kurt Guenther. This year's squad was very balanced with all team members striving to be Number 1” on our team. Very close meets typified our long season, losing to Horicon by 3 and 6, and Lomira by 3 points. The Trojan dual meet record was 5-8, while placing 4th in the Flyway Conference meet. Graduating seniors of the team are Kurt Guenther, Jerry Ninmann, Bill Wether- bee, and Mike Korth. Three very promising freshmen competed on this year's varsity which indicates that next year could be a good year for the Dodgeland Cross Country Team. SEASON RECORD N.
