Each year the council plans sophomore day, the camival, and field day, and supervises parent-sponsored dances, W.P.A. week, good-will campaign, and all student activities in general. The student council is a legislative body which serves two main purposes: to have a more democratic school by obtaining the student viewpoint and to relieve the office by taking over much responsibility. Mr. Gleckler sponsors this organization, and members are elected from the activity rooms, various clubs, and classes.
