Ingenuity and all similar attributes were present about the time eighty-five chorus members started their respective brains clicking on ideas for the second annual music revue. The final brainstorm appear- ed in the form of a show, Flying High . The production included a compilation of popular songs into four scenes-Southern, Winter,lndian, and Western. Soloists getting a workoutincluded Bernard Sherman, Norma Lutz, Louise Taylor, Gordon Baugh, and Betty Fromrn. Miss Madge Reynolds was the pilot light of the whole affair. Upper left is the girls' double trio, between-scenes featureffBetty Fromm, Harriett Elema, Ruth Olson, Andora Strickland, Louise Taylor, and Shirley Sue Buckingham. Upper center spotlights Betty Fromm and Jack Lasley in their Indian Love Call number. The group at right is getting in on the lullaby Norma Lutz is crooning to Larry Williams, who portrays My Little Buckaroo . The congregation at the bottom is the grand finale of the big show, in which they call a halt with I Hear America Singing .
