'L TU' M THOMPSON R ROSS MISS NBVINIS In STURGEON A CURRIER President Vice Pies Spon 01 Secietaiv T1 easuiei OFFICERS Colors Gieen and White Flow er White Rose Motto Dependable Ieadeiship Ghe Glass of 1929 The footing of the foundation of our high school learning was laid when We were freshmen under the leadership of Axa Currier as president and Miss Emilx Tenny as sponsor Miss Tenny had a wondeiful personality which won foi her the admiration and loxe of all the students With an enrollment of one hundred and sex enty sex en the class of 29 took one of the prominent parts in school actix ities We always held a leading place in haxlng men on the football and basketball squads We xx e1e always noted for our pep md 1 ood spoi tsmanshlp and ex en though we xx ere taunted as green freshmen we took it good naturedly and with the thought that some day we would be upper classmen. In our first year we were unusually well represented in both Boys' and Girls' Glee Club. In the Sophomore year Florence Gaunt was the president of one hundred thirty-four students, who had as their sponsor, for the second year, Miss Tenny. Bus States was on the basketball team. We remember this year by two events which we all enjoyed, the Sophomore hike and party. When we recall the party we remember the senior boys who stole our re- freshments. The enrollment gradually decreased each year and as Juniors there were only one hundred nine, out of the one hundred seventy-seven who started as freshmen. Two big successes were sponsored by the Junior Class, the Junior-Senior Banquet and Second Childhood. As Juniors we had more students on the honor roll than any other class. Floyd Crawford was president and Miss Eulalia Nevins sponsor. All class officers were boys. To take the place of the annual class fight the school took a day off and .
