It's very realistic with all the barnyard animals standing around to watch us, and scarecrows peering at us from the cornfields. Not long afterwards come odors of grease paint and poster paint as the john Barrymores and Katherine Ilepburns of the senior class prepare for the big night, and, Mother Is A Freshman. Come dance with me, seems to be the thought expressed in this scene from the Senior play.

iii! The Bennett and Edwards annual presentation of awards to out- standing D B students. Every December, Bennett and Edwards sends a representative before the student body to present tickets to five boys to attend a New Year's Day bowl game. A murmur always runs through the students as we specu- late who the lucky boys will be. This year they were: most Valuable, Karl Ketrong Most improved, Skippy Slauhterg highest scholastic in foot- ball, jack Comptong best all-around Senior, jay Gillenwaterg outstanding Senior in the band, Paul Greene. The football teams and their coaches celebrate the end of the season each year with a big banquet, complete with speakers and pretty wait- resscs.
