His blond good looks make him the idol of a great number of admiring girls whom he charms by a mere shy smile. He was equally admired for his athletic prowess. Coach Dyer considered him one of the greatest high school quarterbacks ever and he was an invaluable member of the baseball team. Neal's future plans include Colgate and engi- neering and we are sure he will succeed at whatever he attempts. Student linumzil . . . to give each student the opportunity to develop his ambition as a competent and responsible member of his school, community and nation and to establish a medium for good student-faculty relations. These few lines ex- press the suposes of our Dobbs Ferry High School Student Council as stated in its consti- tution. This year's Student Council, capably led by Albert Muscari, president, and advised by Mrs. Marie McManus, has diligently functioned with this objective in mind. Among the out- standing projects undertaken by the Council were the sponsoring of the Hospital Drive in the fall, and an all-out effort to relieve the con- gestion in the halls. Our Student Council has enabled members of the student body not only to improve conditions prevailing in the High School but also to serve themselves and the community. Left to Right, Row 1: MI A. Sparked by the fine ball handling of the Three Gs, George Graham, Babe Grande and Dave Gifford, and the good defen- sive play of the other members of the squad, the Eagles remained at the top of the league through their first eight league games. However, in meeting Ardsley and Hendrick Hudson for the second en- counter of the season, the Eagles fell to the opposi- tion and were consequently involved in a three way tie with these two squads for the championship. Undaunted, the Eagles moved into the Section 1, Class C Tournament where they came out the victors, beating Brewster, Hendrick Hudson and Carmel in succession. This year, the Eagles proved themselves to be one of Westchester's finest ball clubs and one of which we are justly proud. 100 SCOR ES 1958-1959 Hastings 55 ...................... ......................
