Administration THE PRESIDENTHS MESSAGE --- Ishould like to record five impressions of he past eventful year, The fine increase in :nrollment was a stimulant to everyone on our rampus, Classes were fullerg activity parti- :ipation was up as was incomeg there were :rospects for more majors in several depart- nents, and it was another year of high reten- ion of upperclassmen, Senior accomplishments were again out- tanding, They included another Woodrow Vilson award, many fine assistantships and graduate fellowships, a number of key job vlacements in business and education, and till other elections for professional schools, Curriculum enrichment continued with the ,ddition of a fifth off- campus program at flerrill-Palmer Institute in Detroit for stu- ents majoring in behavioral science, 1 Campus activities achieved a new level of yuality during the year--Greek Week, the fine Arts Festival, and basketball and track easons, and the Varsity Vagabonds' perform- nces brought praise to Doane, The D4 Program moved forward slowly but urely, The beautiful new men's dormitory eadies us for an increased September enroll- Dr, Donald M, Typer President Mr. Robert Moss Assistant to the President Dr. Daryl Williams Dean of the College hent, Preparations for 1965-66 are well in 3and and Doane's 94th year promises to be ne of the most significant in its history, Mr. Durwood Hayek Business Manager Mr. Loyd Oleson Registrar The Doane Board of Trustees for 1964 1965.

Dedication MR. GLENN W. BUCK Two years ago the Tiger initiated a tradition of dedicating the Doane yearbook annually to a person who has contributed to the college through both administrative efforts and direct contact with students, In honor of his dedication to Doane throughout the years, we this year publish our book in honor of Mr, Glenn W, Buck, Doane alumnus of 1923 who, during his college days on the hill, was active in forensics, participating in debate and extemporaneous speaking, in Doane Players, in intercollegiate football and track, being named an all-state fullback two years and holding the javelin record several years. Upon graduation from Doane, Mr, Buck entered the Harvard Law School and in 1928 received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Northwestern University Law School, whereupon he was admitted to the bar in Indiana and Nebraska, Administratively, Mr, Buck has served as Alumni Secretary, Admissions Director, Busi- ness Manager of the College, and Doane's representative to the Nebraska College Confer- ence, He is largely responsible for building up the endowment of our college and has helped students by increasing funds for scholarship and other financial aid,
