A member of the DHS faculty since 19.39. Marvin Winger holds the position of assistant principal. whose duties include the supervising of registration. absence. tardiness and disci- plinary action. He has studied at both the University of Illinois and the University ol Wisconsin. receiving his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the latter. His position of assistant principal was assumed in September of 1956. 'lihe graduating class of 1960 wishes Mr. YNinger happiness and success in his future years at DHS. L 4.-f Administration Sheldon liross. who has completed his lifth successful year as principal of D.H.S.. is admired and respected by all of the students. After receiving his B..-X. degree from Carth- age College. Mr. Bross received his lNfI.A. at the University of Colorado. Although he is busy with many other tasks. he always finds time to be of service to the students whenever necessary. As the Superintendent of Schools, Sherwood Dees works closely with the school board in serving the Dixon Public Schools. It is Mr. Dees who recomtnends the employment of all new school employees. prepares the budget for the school district. and sees that all the policies of the board are carried out. Mr. Dees serves as a link between the school employees and the board. We the students of DHS want to thank hir. Dees for the fine work he has done for all of us in serving our community.
