The sixty-eiqht students of this class have held many activities and each one has been a success. The first major activity of the class was the maqazine sales whicn helped to boost the class treasury. These sales are an annual project for all sophomore classes. The money acquired by the class on a percentage basis from the maga- zine subscriptions are really a bio help in putting on future N ass activities. On October l5th after the Dixon-Winters football aame the class held the an' nual Sophomore Sock Hop. Everyone came decked out in crazy socks and prizes were aiven for the best ones. A qood time was had by all and for once no one Could complain of scuffecl shoes! To wind up the year the class decorated for qraduation. This is one of the bia- qest duties the sophomore class has. This year graduation was held for the first time at Madden Memorial Hall. The decorations were very pretty and well liked by both the qraduatina class of 55 and the people attending, The class of 57 now turns the paqe of their sophomore year and looks for- ward to two more successful years at Dixon Hiqh School.
