D-1 Division D-2 Division D-l is assigned the job of maintaining the ground tackle on the ship and participates in the anchoring and underway evolutions of the ship, as well as the tended units. When they are not engaged in these activities, the Boatswains Mates in D-l engage in the traditional and never-ending job of preserving the decks on DIXON ' S 01 level.
