While the fire control technicians are occupied with this function, the Gunners Mates in the division maintain accountability for all the small arms on the ship. The division also maintains the associated magazines and sprinkler systems within the weapons system. W-2 also maintains the Nuclear Weapons Security Program and provides all training for shipboard personnel in Weapons Security.
