Presi- dent Fred Kamper, Men's Week at Dixie 1970, proved to be a week of weeks. Slated to take place March 6-12, the ideas the A.M.S. Council dreamed up kept Rebels and faculty alike on their toes in anticipation of the day to come. Among the atten- tion grabbing events were a slave sale of all the girls on campus, a tug-a-war, a pie-eating contest, and a car bash. The week finally came to an end with a dance and the crowning of the most preferred girl on campus, Patti Eliason. The coun- cil outdid themselves this year to make Men's Week a week of endur- ing Southern Spirit.
