TH nun EHALLENEE sumo EH:-:msn Tn WUIQLU EAC Tu Vve, the senior class of 1946, feel that a challenge awaits us as we leave high school and graciuate into a world of competition. The worici has been torn hy war and strife for so many years that we, as the first peace-time graduating class, may tremhie a little at the problems we wiii have to face anci to solve, to the best of our ability, for ourselves and our posterity. Our theme is intended to portray the change from war to peace, anci to eniiven our memories so that we may not forget the war-torn years and the boys who gave their lives to safeguard our future. Dixieys goici-star hoys are George Vviison, John Morris, Cecil Goins, Roy Piymesser, Henry Cole, and Ralph Dutfie. They had faith in our ability to guarci anci to cherish world peace, and they entrust us with that task. Vve shall accept this challenge and shaii never forget these boys as we go forth, armect with our education and our love of peace. to meet the challenge. It is our earnest intention to attack it bravely anci never to ciouht the success of the ultimate outcome. BETTY TEIPEL. page Four
