Change Things don’t remain the same. Maybe that’s one of our faults. Friends yesterday aren’t our friends today. Friends today won’t be our friends tomorrow. Our lives change so drastically in such a short period of time. Most of us have been in this school for six years. In six more years it will be just a memory and six after that a distant one. That’s the way life is. It can’t be avoided. Change can’t be prevented, it is part of living. We live for the moment and that’s good. It is better not to be constantly aware that your life, the way you know it, will not be that way in ten years. It is better not to realize that our friendships, hopes, dreams, and goals will be different in ten years. It is hard to comprehend and even harder to accept. For now let us enjoy our friends, tomorrow it might be too late. Alan Schwartz
