FOREWCRD As we pause to set down the reminiscences of our four fleeting school years at the Academy, we realize the deep significance of the name DIVINE PROVIDENCE. We know that one of the most consoling and illuminating doctrines of our Holy Religion is the truth of God's providence overshadowing us. It is at once a compensation and an indisputahle pledge of our faith. We are neither the puny victims of some fatalistic power, nor the cast- off subjects of an indifferent and loveless Lord. We are creatures of an infinitely good and wise and powerful Being. He is our Father in Heaven, and His will is that in all our needs we will have recourse to Him. His providential care is ever at our service. He makes but one condi- tion: that in all things we SEEK . . . FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS IUSTICE AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Mother lVlary Kenneth Provincial of Sisters of Divine Providence Allison Park, Pennsylvania Mother Mary Kenneth is one of the three provincials of the Divine Prov- idence Sisters in the United States. Nlothcr is thc person whose duly it is to assign teachers to our school. Our faculty represents a great part of school life, and it is not mere chalice that made possihlc our education under the capable direction and guidance of these nuns. Here, in the Providence of God, We have the pattern of a full and complete life. We pause to pay tribute to those Who during the past four years have opened the avenues of learning of the Catholic educational system and have made every effort to mold character in accordance with the true principles of Christian living. WE EXALT THE PROVIDENCE OF COD, WHO GAVE US THESE VALIANT WOMEN AS OUR TEACHERS.
