Father James blesses the crowns held by Pat, while Nancy, the May Queen, kneels and prays. Father James crowns Nancy, our May Queen. The outstanding religious event of the year was the May Crowning. Before the flower-decked shrine of Our Lady erected in the Chapel, Nancy Jean Douglass robed in the white gown and veil of festal days, crowned the Blessed Mother.

SCHCDLASTI ACTIVITIES Our academic program is merely a carry over or rather a continuation, one might say, of our spiritual programg for in every subject the Christian Social Principles were always instilled in us. As we here see our other classmen por- trayed, we recall that our own years as underclassmen were very much like theirs. These pages are rich in the warmth of friendship which we shared with those who in the Providence of God were destined to walk the halls of D.P.A. with us during our four years. There were moments of difficulty, but there were hours of achievement, and always there were friends-friends chosen by a LOVING PROVIDENCE. Mary Kay, Joanne, Patricia Suleclcy, Marianne Spinelli, Marie, Patricia Steward, Rosemary, and Mary Ann Vincunas seem anxious to see the new film strip on Pennsylvania History which Sister Rosalie is hastily examining.
