America's fav- orite pastime hit the campus again. Braving the chills of mid- March weather, the Big Red Machine bent to routine prac- tices. Not even rain dampened spiritsg practices simply moved into the gym. The month sped byg the season commenced. Five out of the first six games were dropped, but when the Deacons returned home they made a discovery-playing on their Pasturefront Stadium brought luck.
