By involving themselves in clerical duties, the students gain valuable experience for their luture vocations. Refining and perfect- ing these experiences, Sr. Danielette and Sr. Luiza motivate their students to a higher level of efficiency, speed and accuracy in the use of modern machines. Cultural Classes Add Spice to Curriculum Dull is a word that is never applicable to D.C.’s curriculum. Teachers endeavor to stimulate their students to believe that knowledge is a prized posses- sion. Journalism, glee club, home ec and art classes are anything but drab. Journalism is a world of awareness and observa- tion. Mrs. Marshall stresses this through correct news writing as well as in the study of advertising and all its peculiarities. Glee club is more like a break from school than a class. In learning the techniques ol good singing, stu- dents enjoy the music selections and various pro- grams they sponsor.
