SDIIOR CLASS PROPHECY On May 5 1960 Bobby and Ray Lewis left thelr wives and children at Nolan, Texas, boarded thelr twin hellcopters and started on their tour to see all of the1r Blvide senlor .classmates of 1948 Their first stop was at Gail, Texas, where they encountered the sheriff, treasurer, tex collector and asses sor, judge, and clerk of Borden county, Mouzon Brown After a few days visit with Chun , the pair flew to Hollywood, Call fornia to meet Hazel Allen, starrlng ln a 'retake' of 'The Straw berry Blonde' Before leaving Californla, they went to see Wayne Tyrone and Charles Lister, partners ln the grapefrult business Going up the coastline, the men went to cold Alaska to See Gene Hanks, who had taken up land in that faraway country The Journey contlnued to Chlcago where Bob and Ray met Mary Beth Hartgraves, who was an Engllsh teacher ln Northwestern University Mary took the boys to see and hear the great con tralto singer, Wanda Shirley, who was be1ng presented 1n a con cert w1th Margaret Truman The boys went to North Carolina to see J B Monroe and RAY Klnerd operators of large plantatlons Jewell Dean fStorey o1l worker ln the Longvlew o1l flelds when the flyers came back to Nolan, they had to visit Zena Lewis to tell her of their expedltion .XXIX jf- ! 2 . o o o , . - . , White told the boys in Longview, Texas, that her husband was an X B ff 'A kv- ,.
