FOTGWOFC1 Publishing an annual during war time proved to be quite a headache. For example, we have had to accept a type of cover that we are unaccus- tomed to. Also due to the paper shortage, etc., which you know all about, we've had quite a difficult time securing our pictures. We aren't complaining though, because we were fortunate in having a supply of pre-war paper, without which the annual would be much inferior. In spite of these difficulties the staff feels that they have given you an interesting annual and sincerely hope you agree. Marjorie Hunnicutt acted as business manager during the second part of this year. Frank Painter is the fellow to thank for the cartoons in this year's annual. To Mr. Freeman, our advisor iand the fellow who did most of the workl , all we of the staff can say is, Thanks, Pop! 4

Freeman, advisor. Student Council Under the leadership ot the Student Body president, Joe Martien, the Student Council has been very active. Among their many accomplishments was putting the Sixth War Loon Drive in this school over the top, and arranging for school dances. They enjoyed many social activities, including bringing their lunches for noon socials and having a party with the Orosi Student Council. Merit Board Virginia Gilmour, secretary, C. H.
