OBIE BRIANS ERNEST BITTICK SEQRES?-.EEQEEQEEFQBQ Dedication Obie Brians, Ernest Bittick and Jack Wooley will never graduate with the members of the class of '45. The reason is a very honorable one. They went to war to tight for their country and died in battle. Words cannot express the way their classmates felt when they received word that these boys had died so that they might enjoy the every-day privi- leges of going to school, buying sodas, going to shows and growing up in a country where they had the privilege of choosing their own profession. These boys gave their lives that others of our class would not have to go. All three of these boys were active in sports, but feeling that they were capable ot doing more, they joined up with a bigger team. The team they joined wasn't as kind to them as ours was. Or perhaps it was kinder, We cannot say what lies beyond death. T To the parents of Obie and Ernest and Jack we wish to say: You need not fear for your sons, we have gone to school with them and they were good. Thank you for their lives and for giving us the privilege of knowing them.
