Foreword All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts. Shakespeare Editor in Chief BRENDA F. CROWDER Likewise, the members of the Class of 1968 are ending one of the many roles they will play. This exciting new chapter is added to a vastly changing Dillard script. Through four acts and in¬ finite scenes, we have appeared, taken our places and repeated our lines. And now, the class members of 1968 rush to take their places to act the final scenes of this human play at Dillard High. When the volume ends, we will exit from the Dillarfl stage to seek roles in other plays. But before viewing th final scene of this play, let us scan what we have acted already in the happy days spent at our Dear Alma Mater.

We Dedicate To the parents, who with love and understanding have given a tremen¬ dous amount of energy, guidance, loyalty, and re¬ sourcefulness to make our school and community life sig¬ nificant and prosperous, we dedicate this annual. You have con¬ tributed unselfishly and unbiasly to the welfare and future existence of all people of these fifty United States of America, provided that it serves for the hope and joy of helping others. Accordingly, with worth and esteem, for an immeasurable number of years, graduating classes have felt the intrinsic importance of your influence, to the extent that your perpetual devotion, wisdom, and counseling have made our paths brighter as we ' ve strived to reach heights of greater merit. Although we can never hope to truly repay you for all you have done for us, this is our promise to you, that we will continue the struggle of life, that we shall attempt to reach the high plateaus you have led us to. Indubitably, your attempts to help make our ambitions come to life for the betterment of our lives have helped immensely. To those we hold most dear, we the SENIORS OF 1968 dedicate this book to you, OUR DEAR PARENTS, with eternal grat¬ itude and the deepest of affection.
