Foreword Failure, success, crisis, decision, time and circumstance . , . these we will encounter in our uphill journey. We wonder why and when each will stop climbing, but we cannot know what lies so far beyond our limiting conceptions. To reminisce memories of joys and sorrows that have passed is what makes our climbing a realization of what perhaps will lie beyond the peak of the hill. The choicest part of our school days is yet to be skimmed by the unseen fates that await us on our journey up. We thrust forth all our strength in order that we might see a broader view. It is in this spirit that the 1965 DILLARD- ITE Staff presents a yearbook with the theme, THE HIGHER THE CLIMB THE BROADER THE VIEW.
