Bright High School Years Hy Ruby Foster, '47 Bright high school years of youthful love, The dearest years of life, Filled with hopes and high resolves, Mingled with tears and strife. The comradeship that we have spent Throughout our high school days Will give us courage, and lasting will To sing our highest praise. No famous age can change the tide That leads to farther heights, No time or chance can e'er dim The pleasant thoughts of years' delights. Accustomed spots where friends have met In revels. spots and wiles Will always hold sweet memories Of love and beaming smiles. Too soon we turn to unknown lands Where life again is new.
