They even had the satisfaction of beat- ing Shoshone. Which hasn't been done Cexcept this yearl since 19115. Every boy on the team says 'We could do it again fair and square. The team also had some fun in a Jamboree held at Richfield December 6. The Jamboree was more or less just to find out which team would improve the most during the season. Participating were Carey, Dietrich, Richfield, and Shoshone. Shoshone took first, and the other three teams tied. Dietrich came second later in the season by beating outboth Richfield and Carey in h games. The boys also played an exibition game for the polio drive withthe alumni. At first it looked like an easy game for the older boys of Dietrich but the high school team came back in the fourth quarter to almost t1e.up the game. This game was played on December 23, and the score was 22 to 27 in favor of the alunmi The boys that played on the team during the season were Bob Sexton, Wayne Stevens,B1d Garrett, Bill Ingram, Sidney Edwards, Blaine Stevens, Larry Johnson, John Thomas, Don Ham, B111 Warren, Glenn Stevens, and Philip Nelson Rh MJ xr' Q V, -3 fr We 5 A Q W ri.. -. f,,1Q1'2 J 'wg ,ffm Q 1- X agp? + Y, ,131 J pm? t f.. tl ,1.Y'.qf1.
