Research papers, book reports, essays, and projects are as- signed to students in this department. Shana will ne ver forget those legendary Canterbury Tales, while Karen Bray is still in an emotional upheaval because of her research paper. Un- derclassm en will always remember the pages they were forced to speed read at the last minute on their book reports for Mrs. Nor- wood. Ms. Gilbert's quiet humor helps stu- dents enjoy language while they are being taught the skills of junior and senior English. Mrs. Brenda Dickerson is the new English teacher for the lo wer grades. English may not be the most popular subject in school, but dedicated teachers make it bearable. Dana looks washed out after reading Canterbury Tales. Dale and Vicki pro ve you can smile while doing research papers. Hey Leslie, did we have any homework last night? I take it Mrs. Dickerson is not in the room. 6 1
