All My Sons by Arthur Miller was presented by the DSU Theatre Department in April. 1987 under the direction of Peter Mellen. The Set Construction was under the design of Richard Hogan. A graduate student from Mankato State. The play takes place in the home of Joe and Kate Keller in post WW II. In the course of the play Chris Keller, their son. realizes that his father was responsible for the death of 2 pilots during the war due to faulty parts. D.J. Wamback rakes hold of John Ballard when he realizes what his father has done. 32 The Cast of All My sons included D.J. Wamback. Roger Klusmann. John Ballard. Margret Barnhart. Cory Taylor. THE PASSION OF DRACULA The audience never had the pleasure of viewing the Theatre Departments pre- sentation of The Passion of Dracula due to the untimely death of its lead actor, Bill Fleming, a former teacher at DSU. The production was based on Mr. Flemming’s interpretation of Dracula and the show could not be presented without him. The Yearbook staff wishes to mention Director. Peter Mellen and the rest of the cast, which included Dr. John Ballard, Don Ehli, Julee Lundberg, D.J. Wamback, Kirk Mosley. Cory Taylor. Cheryl Veeder and Kevin McLouth for the many hours spent on the production. Bill Hemming as Dracula and Cheryl Veeder as Wilhelmina GERTRUDE STEIN. GERTRUDE STEIN. GERTRUDE STEIN Lynn Walker is a Senior Theatre Arts Major at DSU. For her senior project, she performed Gertrude Stein” which is a one woman show about the life of Ms. Stein. The performance was under the direc- tion of Don Ehli who put Lynn in center stage surrounded by the many paintings that Ms. Stein had collected in her life time. 31 Lynn Walker as Gertrude Stein .
