This one-to-one atmosphere is encouraged by the faculty to help students examine their goals and ideas. Opportunities in many different Helds of study are often discovered. Ques- tions of how do I decide my schedule?, can I change majors?, which is the best decision for me to make?, what are my options?, need answers. The deans of men and women are available for counseling situations along with a full-time career counselor and a tutor in student services. I've needed on several occasions to discuss my future plans. My advisors have taken the lime and given me the fads from which I was able to make a clear decision. Everybody likes a winner and it’s little surprise why the Blue Hawks are the biggest show in town. A member of the North Dakota Collegiate Athletic Conference and Women’s Athletic Conference of North Dakota. DSC has a long tradition of success and a loyal following of students, alumni and friends whose enthusiasm for Blue Hawk athletics is contagious. The men compete in National Athletic Intercollegiate Association Division II championships in basketball, cross-country, tennis, track, and volleyball with the As- sociation for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Division III.
