REMEMBER 1979 As the year of 1979 closed, so closed another chapter decade of our lives. The seventies brought many changes; Gas prices steeping at Sl.lO galloni the end of the Vietnam War. the beginning and fruitless end of SALT I and II talks with Russia; a floating laboratory in space for space study; and an event which still remains in the minds of most people — Watergate. The usual partying occured as the New Year was initiated. We never realized that the old paths and old times and old memo- ries of the 1970's had now become the new paths, new times and new memories of the 1980's. So as we attempt to record moments in our lives, we forget one important detail — time never stops. Agricultural students wait patiently for their instructor to arrive for class. Jim Ley.
