Phi Sigma Pi is a national honorary fraternity which emphasizes edu- cation. Their aims are to develop the educational talents of the members and to foster leadership and fraternity. A big event of the school year is the Phi Sigma Pi formal held in November; this year Miss Sandra Badger was crowned Sweetheatf of the fraternity. Meetings are held twice a month and there is often a guest speaker. A spring steak-fry is also held for the members. Lambda Delta Lambda is a national honorary science and mathematics organization on DSCs campus. All science and math majors and minors are eligible for membership. Eligibility is determined by the student's academic standing in his field. The main purpose of the organization is to maintain high grades and create a greater interest in the fields of science and mathematics.
