The Beta Eta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha is DSC's only sorority. Their main goals are to develop each girl intellectually, socially, and spiritually. The sorority is a philanthropic organization which visits old-age homes, repairs toys for the Crippled Children, and contributes to various charity drives throughout the year. In order to pledge, a girl must maintain at least a B scholastic average. Alpha Sigma Alpha sponsors the Sweetheart Ball each February and also sells Mum corsages during Homecoming.
