DEAN OF WOMEN-LEILA WOODS Dean of Women Leila Woods supervises student housing and part-time employment for women, and gives guidance through individual and regularly scheduled conferences. Also, she acts as an advisor to the Student Council, and is Social Chairman of Student Activi- ties. Both the Dean of Women, and the Dean of Men serve on a committee that acts upon all applications for scholarships and loans. 10 DEAN OF MEN-L. G. PU,LVER Dean Pulver counsels male students in matters concerning employment and fi- nance, personal adjustment, health, and class attendance. He serves as an advisor to the Student Council, Phi Sigma Pi, and the Men's Union. ln addition, he is a member of the Council on Student Affairs and the Council on Buildings and Grounds, and Business Affairs. ,V

PRESIDENT EMERITUS CHARLES E. SCOTT Dr. Charles E. Scott is a native of Missouri. He came to North Dakota in l922 to head the Department of Edu- cation at the Dickinson Normal School. He went to Minot Normal School to be Director of Training in l927. On August l,l939, he was appointed president of the college at Dickinson. He retired from that posi- tion on August l, l959. Dr. Scott now serves as coordinator of the college entrance programs for the State Board of Higher Education.
