NNXXXXXNX XXXXX XXXXXXXXQ KXXX NYSA Baseball, 1925 Only in baseball has Dickinson's star been dimmed in the oast athletic year and but few signs of better days to come can be noticed The nine has been badly handicapped by the absence of a creditable pitcher although in other re spects the team has shown consistent form. Last season s record was bright ened only by brilliant victories over the supposedly superior teams of A1 bright and Gettysburg and in these games the team played well behind good pitching. During the Commencement season a galaxy of diamond gems of the past fell before the more youthful performers of the present The present season has again displayed the crying need for pitchers and th team s record 1S as yet not laudable. As inpother sports, the Law School again contributed more than her just portion of winners of the coveted D by qualifying six letter men Both last year's captain, Satterlee, and the present captain, Heller are law men Dickinson Dickinson Dickinson Dickinson Dickinson Dickinson Dickinson Dickinson 11 2-F. and M. I A Track Team, 1925 . I 4 I A Q2 2 I in.. 1:9 , , p:- In track as well as in other athletics, the Law School is doing her share to uphold the prestige of Dickinson. Last year's championship team is almost in- tact and bids fair to equal the records of previous years with the two mile rec- ord already shattered in the first week. In the one test, thus far, Dickinson was beaten but the result was encouraging for the meets yet to come. The Law School has placed five men on the team this year. McKeown is a pole-vaulter of no mean ability ard bids fair to win many a point in his fav- orite event. Tenenbaum, in the sprints, is developing into a reliable point- winner. Mike Donlin, a new-comer has already proved his worth by easily capturing both dashes in our only meet to date. Wren, after a season of inac- tivity has reached a mark which bids fair to win him a letter with ease. Each- us, in the weights and pole-vault, is a consistent performer. Ahead lie many triumphs for our track team and our goal is permanent pos- session of the Central Penna.
