Top Rushing Offense in Greater Houston Area Alrhough the varsity football team did not make the playoffs this year, they were far from being unsuccessful. With a 7-2-1 season record and a 5-2 district record, the Gators finished in third place. Their chances for the playoffs diminished as Galveston Ball beat La Marque in the final gome. Dickinson also led the district in com- bined offensive yardage, exploding with 3,348 yards Gaining 2,863 yards on the ground, the Gators led the Greater Houston Area in rushing. Defensively they were the number one ream against the rush and second in total defense.
