Famlzy Adviser The General Organization Council was organized in january, 1933 The principal purposes of the General Organization Council is, to assist the administrative head of the school in directing and controlling extra-curri- cular activities and to make use of concerted action in the promotion of school aims and ideals. O'Toole The january General Organization successfully completed the third year of centralized representation in extra-curricular activities. Under the leadership of President Henry Barry, the council had to decide whether or not post-graduates should hold office in the various organizations throughout the school. They denied the post-graduates their appeal, on the phrase of the 'General Organizations Constitution which prohibits them from holding office. The council was extremely fortunate in having one of the best executive committees in the history of the organization, in john O'Toole, james Daly, Thomas Flanagan, Sydne Winneld, William Floyd and Henry Barry.
