The Girls' team has been organized for the purpose of allowing the girls an opportunity to make themselves outstanding in the sport. Since the inauguration in February, 1931. the Basketball team has. each year, played an exhibition game with the Alumni. This year the teams were evenly matched and the game was a most exciting one. F acuity Advifer The Cheerleaders squad was organized in 1932 Its purpose is to cheer the Dickinson Evening Varsity Basketball team to victory in all its games, both home and away, and at the same time to get the support of the student body in cheering the team. These enthusiastic, energetic cheerleaders led the cheers to the innumer- able crowds that filled the new gymnasium at every game. Win or lose they never stopped smiling.
