PRESENTATION BOOK I In this section we introduce our Superintendent, Principal, As- sistant Principal, Secretary, High School faculty, and Elementary faculty who were always ready to aid us with our problems. To them we express our thanks for their leadership and guidance. BOOK II It is proper that we give first recognition to our Seniors in this section as we present our classes. Due to reorganization of our high school into the five-year plan, we are minus a Junior Class. Following the Seniors we present Sophomores, Freshmen and Eighth Grade. BOOK III Our activity program which we present in this book furnishes for the student body the extra-curricular activities, which tend to round out our academic studies and develop our personalities. BOOK IV In our athletic section we present our students who have partici- pated in various athletics, our coaches who did an excellent job, and our cheer leaders who were always ready to lead us to victory. BOOK V We present in this book our loyal supporters who made this publication possible. To them we express our deepest appreciation. 2

i) i ' ii i nr i ii i MISS CATHERINE SUTHERLAND To one who has added much to our school life deserves the highest honor we can bestow upon her. Miss Sutherland came to us in our sophomore year. Her unfailing generosity in giving of her time and her vast understanding of our problems and her in- terest and willingness to give sound advice are but a few of the contributions of one of the most dynamic members of our faculty. We shall always remember Miss Sutherland. From Miss Suther- land’s teaching of English we learned the essentials that made it possible for us to edit an annual and news bulletin. Any of our future journalistic undertakings will have as its basis the gram- mar and creative writing we learned under her. Not only because of our love and respect for one who goes out of her way to be helpful, but because of her untiring effort in making the 1948 edition of The Green Knight a reality, it feels honored to have been dedicated to Miss Catherine Sutherland, our teacher and friend. -4 4
