l lf- 4 inf' ingil- Dear Mr. Blankenship: As we, the seniors of l964, come to the close of our high school days, we look back and remember all the times in which we have needed a helping hand, and you were there to lend it. We realize that there were times when we thought you didn't understand us, and we thought you weren't helping us, but scolding us instead. We see now that you were only doing and telling us what you thought was the best for us. As our principal, you not only gave us assistance, you also taught us Civics so we would know something about our government and how it operates. So many times you have stressed the importance of being a good citizen by helping to keep this a free country in which to live. You have also taught us the importance of learning to work with numbers correctly. This is a vital part of our daily lives. We will always remember your friendly smile with which you greeted us. Members of the senior class deeply appreciate the many things that you have done for us, both individually and as a class. May we always live up to these principles and teachings. We realize that our days at dear old Dibrell High School were happy ones. In parting we extend to you our very best wishes for the future, these you so deeply deserve.
