Behind them are left the teachers and their fellow students, but they take with them the memories of many happy days. . With the hope that this book will become a cherished possession of your high school days, we present to you The Lumberjack of 1957. THE EDITORS ORIA FREDDIE 'Twas an ill wind of March that crossed our school this yearg It brought heartaches and tears to those who were near. The Sword of Time with one bold sweep Reduced this loved one to an earthly heap. 2 1 GOINS There will be a vacant chair in our classroom nowg Next year's teams will play short- handed somehowg But there's consolation for grief which is vain- We all know that our loss was a Heavenly gain. -Mae Oma McKewen ADMINISTRATION SECRETARY RANCES WELLS SUPERINTENDENT W F PATE 2.
