Everyone was having a wonderful time, but the high- light of the evening was yet to come. At the appointed hour, the gym was fill- ed with spectators for the coronation of the King and Queen. This year the Hallowe'en King and Queen were deter- mined by popular vote. After all the votes were counted, Earl Burchfield and Virginia Lou Smith, representing the Senior Class, came out ahead to be crowned King and Queen. New instruments and mem- bers have been added to this organiza- tion to increase its size and capacity.
