Fa rm Activities 1 1 Our Diagonal community is a farming community. As such we share in the tremendous task of feeding the American people and the people of the world. So that this job can be done increasingly well, agricultural me- thods are constantly being improved throughout the world. Everything done to improve agricultural practices in our community helps us to bet- ter carry our part of the farm program and at the same time it improves the living standards of everyone in the community. One area of school life in which the line between the community and the school tends to disappear is the field of agriculture. Every boy in an agricultural course in school will be in the years ahead a better farmerg his farm will be a better farmg his community will be a better community. Agriculture in the school can, moreover, be part of the community's present as well as future. Working hand his home can put into practice what is farming practices.
