T , .J Q i,,iti , , dmmistration Ship s force maintain the ship seaworthy and lVlission Ready by getting qualified in Basic Damage Control Q30l - 3065 and 3 M Maintenance Person 301 Normally personnel earn Specialty Skills CNECQ at a particular school But before anyone does maintenance on the ship he or she qualifies as a Maintenance Person My job is to train and ensure that maintenance is scheduled and accomplished in a timely manner Primarily I am aided by the XO C3 M Managerj 38 work center supervisors and 5 Departmental 3 M Assistants There are two types of maintenance Planned and Corrective During the deployment between 575 and 650 PMS checks were accomplished on a weekly basis Also numerous Corrective Maintenance actions were completed The latter includes troubleshooting requesting services and or assistance ordering receiving installing and or test operating parts Depending on the system and or equipment the ship sends a request to secure a system and or piece of equipment for maintenance For the deployment the ship was successful at its multi-tasking partly because its personnel commitment to completing maintenance O . 11 NCCCSXWQ Ernest Master-at-Arms perform duties in three general areas: physical security, law enforcement, and anti-terrorism. They generally work for the Executive Officer. The Mission of the Master-at-Arms are: 1 To of life and property 2 To and regulations order and Weaver LQP3
