“Spirit Week” Climaxes Football Season Spirit Week has become the highlight of the football season for many of the students at DHS. Students can be involved in some activity every day of the week preceding the Homecoming Game and Dance. Spirit Week for 1974 was Oct. 7 to Oct. 12. Monday was Poster Day and Hall Decorating Contest for each of the classes with sophomores winning. Other activities of the week are seen on this page. The Homecoming Dance was held at Southwest Elementary on Saturday Oct. 12, 1974 to climax the week. TOP: Vickie Kandalaft, 1., and Nancy Tuley show spirit by participating in Greaser Day.
