THE REVEILLE 1968 DEXTER SR. HIGH DEXTER, MISSOURI 23rd EDITION IN THE BEGINNING D.H.S. STUDENTS 3 ARE ON THE GO! 4 As you look through the pages of this annual, we hope you see pictures that bring back many fond memories, You will be reviewing your 1967-1968 school year. Time passes quickly, but this book holds a portion of time all of us treasure and will always remember. We, the Reveille staff, are seniors now, so we look toward the future. Our high school years are over. We won't be attending any more basketball or football games, assemblies, pep rallies, club meetings or club trips. We won't be walking down the halls of D.H.S. laughing and talking to our classmates. You still have these experiences to look forward to. We ask that you take advantage of them. 5 IN MEMOR Y JEAN YVONNE ALLEN November 19, 1950--April 19, 1965 But when the sun in all his state. Illumed the eastern skies. She passed through glory's morning gate, And walked in Paradise, —Aldrich 6 IN RECOGNITION The Reveille staff wishes to recognize the years of service and devotion given by Mrs. Rotha Wilson to the students of Dexter High School. None of us shall forget Mrs. Wilson's interest and help throughout our difficult freshman year. She has loved each and every student as one of her own children. We appreciate this opportunity to say, Thank you, Mrs. Wilson. 7 DEDICATION TABLE OF CONTENTS FACULTY Pages 10-30 ROYALTY Pages 31-45 ORGANIZATIONS Pages 45-76 SPORTS Pages 77-102 CLASSES Pages 103-166 ADVERTISEMENTS Pages 166-211 SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS 10 JOHN DeARMAN BOARD OF EDUCATION I JOHN INGALLS Algebra, Geometry Trigonometry Math Analysis Harding College B. Our last report card has reached the file Now we can look back at DHS with a smile. As freshmen we had a party packed with games. As sophomores we set our goals and aims. The prom made our junior year. Our senior year made us into our future peer. There is now a close; to memories which we will hold. Many friendships which we will never unfold. Many experiences worth their weight in gold; And many pranks which will never be told. However we must look to the future without burying the past. We must make new acquaintances Which will always last. We must face new responsibilities Based upon what we already know. For the end of the beginning is here And our time as freshmen in life is near. Meade Minton 128 David A gey Mike Barker Band 1,2, 3; F.T.
