Text from Pages 1 - 200 of the 1966 volume:

Ue VuuUcfa ee ien r Ghe Gii dcun tf-alU, High school life is like a day. In the morning, as Freshman, they’re on their way. They stand with awe in the stately hall And glance in the doors along the wall. It's midday now; the sun is high. Time has passed and they're not so shy. Sophomores like this high school life And shout when they announce, Ballgame, tonight!' It's evening now; the books pile high. Confidence beams from each Junior's eye. His step is firm, his mind, alert. As finals come, he bends to his work. It's twilight now and in cap and gown Near dear ole Dexter High, the Seniors gather 'round. Each receives his diploma as his name is called. The twilight deepens; the curtain falls. Patsy Williams [ 3 ] We bdae ack jbcuf And Acltieae 7ke Ad { luputcj. We have lived up to their high ideals and we have walked where they walked; for like them we strived and we have achieved! fe cvid frjj- (hjxxdiQ i Dewey Sigler, Mrs. Peggy Stoll, Secretary; Loren Coffey, President; T. We set a goal of $1000, but by the end of out campaign we had collected $1338.40 from the students. Mr. Jarrell was a great inspiration to us. We probably would not have organized if it had not been for his leadership. This is one effort on the part of the students of DHS showing that they are adult enough to take an active part in such a worthwhile cause in this community.
