Dexter has a right to be proud of its band. This ,year the band placed First in the dis- trict contest as well as going on to the State finals. It represented Dexter High School at the University of Michigan Band Day and played at the Tulip Festival in Holland in May. The band played at all the home Football games, xentertained at three concerts for the whole school, played at pep meetings and played exchange concerts with Slauson Junior High School in Ann Arbor and with Chelsea High School. The band is looking Forward to a climax this summer at the Chicago Tribune Music Festival in Chicago. The Band Marching during the Homecoming Parade.
