JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY As the curta1n rose on another school year we entered our Juxuor year We were Z3 m number and by good fortune we kept that same number through the school year The offxcers of the year were as follows Presldent Mary Nau, Vice Presxdent Mxldred Exchhorn Secretary Delores Farson Treasury, Jean Clark One evemng 1n the latter part of September we had a Class Wiener Roast It was held on the school grounds and games were enjoyed by all The honored guests were Mr H M lvloore and farrnly Addltlonal guests were also lnvxted by the students One of the great hxghhghts of the year was the Halloween Carnival sponsored by the Junxor and Sen1or classes On November Z1 1947 we presented our Class Play ent1tled Dear Papa When the basketball season opened our class contrlbuted Mervm Addls to the Vars1ty team and Lawrence Noll, Nexl W1lson and Walter Txdd to the Reserves Mary Jane Brown was the representnve cheerleader from our class The rest of the class members helped sell pop and hot dogs at the home basketball games At Chnstmas t1me there was a Chrxstmas program held here at the school house From our class Patr1c1a Boord sang a solo and the students ln the Boys and Glrls Glee Clubs sang several selectlons M11dred E1chhorn was elected by our class as a representatwe w1th the High School Annual In the m1ddle of March there was a Musxc Festival held Several members of our class part1c1pated In Apr1l we held our Junior Senxor Banquet at the Betsy Mills Club ln Mar1etta The Senxors and Faculty were the guests Upon leavxng school th1s sprlng we are lookxng forward to commg back next year as the Senlor Class of 1949 , .
