'PNQ rv J' s. 1 The Carnival was held Saturday, October 30, on the football field. There were many booths on the Cami- val grounds, some of which were: bingo, cake walk, barber shop, marriage booth, fortune telling, spook house, throwing darts at teachers' pictures and food booths. Dukes and duchesses came from: Iourdanton, Charlotte, Poteet, Pleasanton, Castroville Uvalde, Del Rio, Floresville, Karnes City, Lytle, and Hondo. The Senior candidate for queen, Peggy Pepper whose family had moved to Freer, came over to be crowned Queen of the Eighth Annual Camival, sponsor- ed by the Seniors. Q31 Elsie Lindsey and Carolyn Brieden serving at the homemaking stand. 14, Rev.
