SCHOOL BEGAN SEPTEMBER SEVENTH September 7. 1954 was the dare. The event was the beginning of the 1954-1955 school year. -- New students were greeted, pictures taken, class meetings were held to elect class officers, and books issued for the school year. fly New students Martha Williamson, Peggy Ward and Margarite Sarabia being welcomed to Devine High School by Madelyn Brieden, Beth Ann Roberson, Judy Rihn and Melba Baker. 121 The '54 Corrals had arrived and we see Barbara Sollock, Jane Killough and Bobbie Wemer auto- graphing one of the annuals. f3J Peggy Winters getting a shot from Mrs. Delevan as Jerry Weber watches.
